Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
Empower yourself to support the young people in your life.
1 in 5 youth will experience a mental health or substance use challenge, but 50% of them won't get help. You can make a difference! Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges in adolescents (ages 12-18).
In this course, you'll learn about:
Common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
How to interact with a young person in crisis
How to connect them with appropriate help
